A little drum roll, please.  Yes, folks, it’s time to release my newest book, A Time To Begin, because every great love story has a great beginning.

A Time To Begin is sort of a prequel to my old Ellers Family series, which is being reborn/re-released as The MacNicol Clan Through Time. A Time to Begin takes us back to the legendary love story between the strong but wounded chief of the MacNicol clan and a naïve but passionate fae princess.

Sophie is tired of hearing other people’s stories. It’s time for her to create one of her own. Leaving the realm of the fae, she ventures to earth where she stumbles upon a weary and wounded highland warrior. In exchange for healing his shattered body, she insists on accompanying him as they journey across the Isle of Skye.

As the lone survivor of a harsh battle, Herrick is grateful to still be alive, if only barely. His only desire is to return home to the MacNicol clan. The last thing he needs is a naïve, self-absorbed faerie princess tagging along, but when the fae princess agrees to heals his wounds, he agrees to a deal that may seal his fate.

She’s a princess of the fae. He’s destined to become chief of his clan. How on earth can they ever be together?

The legend of Herrick and Sophie was originally mentioned in Return In Time, which is being re-released as A Time To Return (same great story with a little added shine and polish).  I wanted to give these two lovers their own story as the MacNicol clan series starts anew. I’ve released books before, and yet, each time it’s exciting, and I’m full of anticipation. Everyone wants their babies to be successful, and with authors, our books are our babies. We want to see them fly off and spread their wings.

So with great anticipation and joyful excitement, allow me to introduce you to A Time To Begin.
