Today is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year when we get a few more moments of daylight. The sun rises just a wee bit earlier and sets just a wee bit later. I love the sunshine, and I’m ready for the sun and heat of summer.
I like the idea of more. More daylight, more sun, more assurance that summer is finally here, and more time for romance. It’s all those things we associate with romance; long walks on the beach, moonlight strolls, candlelight, and lots of skin showing as the sweaters come off and the shorts go on. It’s all good.
I also love romance. I love reading about it, writing about it, and experiencing it. I LEA sharing my thoughts and writing with you.
Both of my novels, Return In Time and Somewhere To Belong, use the summer solstice as the magical day when my hero and heroine begin their magical journey through time. “Love, ’tis the strongest magic of them all.”
May you have a truly magical day.
Enjoy always, T
I’m pleased your books are magical but I’d like to ask a question, that in all innocence, has never been answered–or which I have never come across: what do lovers do in your books when it is TOO HOT?! I’m an older woman, please be gentle when you explain. (lol)

Young lovers can handle the heat better than us old timers. Or they just find a fan. Whoosh….. take me away oh fans of cool….T
