SEX Testing, 1, 2, 3. . .
Last week I ran a little test on my blog. Totally unofficial, of course, but still a bit of fun.
I put S.E.X. in the title of my blog post. I was wondering if it would increase the number of SEO hits coming my way. You know what ‘they’ always say, Sex Sells. And I really do like the underlining meaning: Seriously Exciting eXcerpts. I hope you’ll take some time to check it out.
Well, back to the sex test. For what it’s worth, NO, it did not get a rise – on the SEO hits I mean. At least not noticeably. Okay, maybe slightly, and I did have some fun with that, but no big uptick in internet surfers, or cruisers looking for Sex or S.E.X. as the case may really be.
I did pick up a few more hits from random sources, but I didn’t see a perverted elevation in visitors. Maybe it was the periods! After all, SEX is just not the same if you’ve got a period. But it’s ever worse if you miss one!! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)

Kinda, sorta, responding to a ‘tag’.
A dear fellow blogging buddy tagged me recently. Linda Vernon got tagged and was so thoughtful, kind, considerate, just down-right-mean enough, to tag me too!! This is my kinda, sorta, response to her tag, since I’ve not good at following all the rules. I’m the kind of persone that when the instructions say “Read all instructions before starting this project.” who basically ignores said instructions.
So for the seven words that describe me (as if) I’ll go with:
Happy - needs no real explanation.
Honest - more often than not.
Friendly – again, more often than not (just being honest here).
A Talker – not afraid to speak my mind.
Generous - I hope, and I try.
Hopeful and Romantic - as in a hopeful romantic.
Okay, now on to some really tough questions, of which I have opted to pick and choose, because this is only a kinda, sorta, response to being tagged.
What keeps me up at night? Besides not being asleep, my beau (for all the right reasons), reading and writing.
Who would I like to be? Me at my best.
What am I wearing right now? A business suit, not very exciting. I should have done this at night!
What scares me? Not being good enough – is that honest enough for you?
There’s more and I hope to get back to finishing this tagging buz – maybe later. One of the requests (requirements) is that I tag seven more bloggers. I want to give this some thought, so it may take some time as – well who knows what can happen while I’m giving it some thought.

What if you Knew?
Remember when you learned your ABCs and 123s? And now you know how to read and spell and balance your checkbook (okay, some of us are still having problems with that one).
Remember when you learned about history and politics? And now you know how the world works, and sometime even understand!
Remember when you learned how to drive a car, and the open road became your friend? And now you know about stop signs and speed limits and how to follow the traffic laws – or not.
Remember when you learned about Love, and a time when you felt loved, really loved (from mom, dad, sister, brother, friend, lover, or whatever, you name it)? And now you know you are loveable.
But maybe sometimes we forget. Or life seems to suck that feeling right out of us. But I’m here to remind you – you are loved. There is always a higher power that walks beside you and loves you. So….in case you forgot in all the hustle and bustle of the busy holiday season….let me remind you – you are loved.

To thine own self be true. Harder than it sounds. To stand up for what we believe in, not what others belive in or what others would like us to believe in. Or even what’s ‘IN’ for the moment.
To thine own self be true. To ask no more of the world than we are willing to give. To know we already have all that we need. We really do have enough.
To thine own self be true. To look within for our happiness. If you are not true to yourself, you will always be looking for the next best ‘thing,’ but you won’t find it until you know you already have it. Funny how that works….. but it does.

I’m all for love.
A Blog KISS for today. Keep It Short and Simple.
First off, let me say, I am all in favor of relationships and I think marriage can be a beautiful expression of a committed relationship.
Now, I will also say; I am neither for nor against marriage. I am also neither for nor against divorce. So what am I in favor of? I’ll say it again: Relationships.
I AM all in favor of everyone walking their own path of self-awareness and love. I am a BIG believer of relationships. Good or bad, beautiful or ugly they all serve a purpose….. to educate, to enlighten, to evolve our souls.
Relationships create the Alchemy of Intimacy. They provide the opportunity for growth and transformation.
I’m also a big fan of happiness. Happiness is not just home made. It’s also OWN made. We create our own happiness. No one else can do that for us. Happiness takes daily practice. It’s not a one time thing, I’ve got it now, I’m good to go. No, Happiness, like love, is a daily choice we choose again and again each day of our lives….. or not. Always the question is: What are you choosing?
I choose to love myself so I can love you too.
I have been blessed with the experience of knowing unconditional love. Not from another, but for another. And once you experience unconditional love, you can never hate again. The love is too big. It touches everything, it encompasses everything.
I wish you joy and peace, health and wealth, but most of all, I wish you love.
