Deleted Scenes
You know how movie DVDs sometimes add Deleted Scenes as a bonus feature? Well, I was going through some of my older files and I found this deleted scene from Return In Time. It’s just a little glimpse into my favorite fairy, Moezell. And I thought it would be nice to share it with you. Hope you enjoy. . . Always, T
Unseen, Moezell stood there bedazzled, watching Rory’s display of raging grief over the disappearance of Teressa. Such a display of powerful emotion was a wonder to observe. It was impressive, this range of emotions humans were able to experience. To a fairy that could only watch and envy their ability, the depth of Rory’s pain was wondrous. She could readily appreciate his fitful state of mind and she was touched by his magnificent vulnerability. It was easy to understand why so many of the spirit folk had chosen to incarnate into the human world. The experience was amazing, so far removed from the eternal feeling of well-being existing in their world. Granted, there were many painful experiences to encounter in the physical world, but these humans had the one gift the fairies truly envied, the ability to feel both the pleasure and pain of love for one another.
There was very little she could do to help him through his suffering, but she could offer him comfort and hope. And of the two, hope was the greatest gift she could provide. The rest would be up to the soul of Roderick MacNicol to achieve. Moezell stepped through the veil of the unseen and revealed herself to Rory.
Summer Solstice 2012
Today is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year when we get a few more moments of daylight. The sun rises just a wee bit earlier and sets just a wee bit later. I love the sunshine, and I’m ready for the sun and heat of summer.
I like the idea of more. More daylight, more sun, more assurance that summer is finally here, and more time for romance. It’s all those things we associate with romance; long walks on the beach, moonlight strolls, candlelight, and lots of skin showing as the sweaters come off and the shorts go on. It’s all good.
I also love romance. I love reading about it, writing about it, and experiencing it. I LEA sharing my thoughts and writing with you.
Both of my novels, Return In Time and Somewhere To Belong, use the summer solstice as the magical day when my hero and heroine begin their magical journey through time. “Love, ’tis the strongest magic of them all.”
May you have a truly magical day.
Enjoy always, T

Somewhere To Belong.
I’m excited to announce that Somewhere To Belong – now available at all major online booksellers.
While on vacation on the Isle of Skye, Daniel Ellers is swept back to thirteenth century Scotland for one hell of a kick-ass, time-travel adventure. He quickly recognizes the depth of his dilemma when he learns that his fate is controlled by the whim of a particularly meddlesome fairy. The uncertainty surrounding his future creates a significant kink in his desire to pursue Kayla, the beautiful young woman who found him stranded in the past. Adding to his problems are Kayla’s three big brothers who stand ready, willing, and able to kick butt to protect their innocent sister.
Kayla MacNicol is tired of her family’s smothering ways. The last straw is her mother’s attempt to arrange her betrothal to a man she doesn’t love. She’s ready to break free from her family’s overly protective rule; all she needs is a little encouragement and some well-deserved support. Her initial reaction to Daniel is one of resentment and rejection. She sees him as an outlander, not fit to spend even one night in Scorrbreac keep. But when repeated exposure to his charming seduction sparks her untapped passion she begins to question her harsh assessment.
Kayla begins to wonder if Daniel could possibly be the man of her dreams when Daniel is forced to take control of his destiny and fight for the woman he loves.
Somewhere To Belong is a paranormal time-travel romance that sweeps a modern cowboy back to 13th century Scotland where he must take control of his destiny and fight for the woman he loves.
Enjoy always, T
